INT. A NONDESCRIPT HOUSE IN THE SUBURBS – DAWN
DAD walks gingerly down the stairs having just woken up. He looks hungover and as if he has the flu but he’s just a father in his mid 30’s. He stops half way down.
Honey, do you want any coffee?
A voice comes from the bedroom at the top of the stairs.
Whatever you want, I don’t care.
You say you don’t care but if I only make enough for me you will ask me where yours is. This happens every Saturday.
DAD continues down the stairs in a fog that only parents can know. As he steps off the bottom step into the hallway his bare feet hit a pile of Lego bricks that have been left unattended on the floor. He jumps as if he is bit by a rattlesnake.
GOD DA..I TOLD YOU TO PICK UP THE LEGOS CHILDREN!
Who are you yelling at?
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
DAD is now on his computer. He has his wallet in his hand and is looking at a picture of Box4Blox, an amazing product that he found while in agony from stepping on loose Legos. Box4blox not only stores these pesky little bricks but sorts them by size as well. DAD has a look of satisfaction as he enters his credit card number and hits submit. Soon stepping on loose Lego pieces will be a thing of the past and his kids will always know where to find the right piece to finish their invention.
